7 Casino Review

“Is there anything as exciting as being part of a fresh casino? If you’ve settled into your existing casino, switching to something else seems needless. Still, for those of you looking to play somewhere brand new, we’ve got an exciting prospect for you. A brand new website by the well regarded BGO Entertainment Limited group! With lots of cool slots and lucrative promotions, it’s got all the ingredients for a successful casino. But can they put it together and make it work?”

7-Casino is a casino operated by BGO Entertainment Limited. If the name sounds familiar, it’s because they’ve also been responsible for other high quality websites. Vegas Luck, Chilli Casino, and, of course, their namesake BGO Casino. BGO themselves have been around since 2012, and seek to create an exceptional experience for their players. Gamblers can look forward to over 500 games made by a multitude of different software providers. The website also has useful tools that make it easier to find the games you want to play. This, alongside a few thrilling bonuses, forms 7Casino’s strong core. But while it starts strong, it does have a few flaws we noticed. Support not being available 24/7, fees on all deposits and withdrawals, and a capped maximum payout for all releases except progressive jackpots. But if you can live with these, you’ll probably enjoy what this casino has to offer.

The following countries are currently restricted from playing with this operator: the USA, US/GB Virgin Islands, US Minor Outlying Territories, North Korea, China, Syria, Yemen, Spain, Italy, France and Overseas Regions, Afghanistan, Libya, Sierra Leone, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Mali, Sudan, Belgium, Greece, Israel, Germany, Turkey, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Denmark, Estonia, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Macau, Philippines, Singapore, Hungary, United Arab Emirates, Romania, Portugal, Netherlands, Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Malaysia, Australia, Colombia, Malta and Sweden.

Software & Games (rating 7/10)

You’re in for a treat with this casino. While it doesn’t have the largest number of games, it does have a great diversity of them. Some software providers have the entirety of their libraries available, like Playtech and Blueprint Gaming. Other developers don’t offer the entirety of their library: instead, BGO picked out their best releases and put them in their library.

While this does mean you have less games to play overall, it makes the smaller selection a higher quality. The vast majority of these releases are slots, but you do have a few table games and live casino releases scattered about. Of course, how many exactly is a bit difficult to pin down. After combining some categories and splitting live releases, we counted one baccarat, four blackjack, and five roulette games. There might be more releases hiding within the big pile of games, but we weren’t able to find them.

Live dealer releases get their own category in this casino. But while the website itself counts 12, you do have access to more. Once you select one of the live games, you’re taken to a lobby with multiple tables to select. So what turns out to be one blackjack icon is actually multiple blackjack tables. Some are just tables with the same rulesets: but others play by different rules or have different cash limits. This decent selection is in sharp contrast to the rather small selection made available for single player versions of these releases. If we were more conspiratorial, we might say that this was BGO’s intent!

Visually, 7 Casino looks alright. We like the colour scheme, but there’s really not that much to say about it. The design shares the same issue many other websites do nowadays. While mobile support is important, it’s led to every casino looking the same, with only slight variants in layouts and colours. A few cool animations or a set theme would go a long way in making this casino more memorable. But as it currently stands, it doesn’t really attract much attention. Meaning it has to let its selection of games do the talking for it!

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like the website has support for demo play. We can’t say we’re too pleased to find this absent in 7 Casino. Sometimes, you want to try a game before committing real money to it. If the casino itself doesn’t give you a demo version, odds are you’ll just find it elsewhere.

If the website wants to ensures its gamblers stay loyal, it should implement demo play for them. If not, there’s always the chance those players find an attractive welcome bonus elsewhere while searching for a demo version. And once they’re gone, bringing them back can be quite difficult.

Slots (rating 8/10)

Slots are the bread and butter of every casino. They make up the vast majority of all available releases, and usually have all the promotions tied to them. This website is no exception to that. In fact, it may be focused even more on slots compared to other game types. If it was purely a numbers game, 7Casino wouldn’t be in the running for very long. But their operator plays things smart, and instead adopts a curator policy. They pick and choose the best releases from certain software providers, and incorporate them into the platform. Available slots are dominated by NetEnt and Playtech. That said, you will also find games made by Blueprint, Eyecon, IGT, Microgaming, Quickspin, Realistic and RTG.

One thing that the website does well compared to its competitors is using search filters to narrow down a specific slot or game. You can let the filter search for only jackpot games, to search for releases by a specific software provider, or slots with a certain theme.

Sadly, you cannot search for all three at once: you can only use one search filter at a time. Slightly annoying? Sure. Far better than what other casinos offer? You betcha! Of course, it can’t compete with something like Videoslots and their awesome system. But it’s an important first step; one we hope BGO Entertainment capitalises on eventually to make an even better search filter system!

That said, 7Casino cannot rely on its selection of games and search filters alone. It needs a little bit extra to attract gamblers and really show how great it is. And that’s where this website’s awesome promotions come into play! Keep reading to find out exactly what bonuses await you.

Welcome Bonus & Ongoing Promotions (rating 8/10)

Nothing welcomes players quite like free money. And while 7-Casino doesn’t offer it blatantly, that’s exactly what the Welcome Bonus is! It gives you seven free spins on Twin Spin Deluxe, Berryburst, Starburst and Pyramid: Quest for Immortality. Now, you might scoff and think to yourself: ‘really, just seven?’ But those seven free spins come with -no- wagering requirements or maximum win! That said, there are some limitations to keep in mind.

First and foremost is that this promotion is only available to players from the UK and Canada. Furthermore, all seven free spins are limited to 10 pence per spin, and expire three days after being activated. Once you’ve played all seven, you can keep using those winnings to play more, or you can withdraw them immediately. The choice is yours!

What about players outside of the UK and Canada? Well, they have a different welcome promotion to look forward to. Namely, for each pound you deposit, you get one free spin: maxing out 77 free spins with a GBP 77 deposit.

These free spins can be played on the same four releases as the previous bonus! And in much the same way, it has no wagering requirements or maximum win! Once you’ve played through all free spins, you are free to do with the winnings as you pleased. Provided, of course, you manage to win something. These are also played at 10 pence every spin, and must be completed within three days after being credited. One new thing to keep in mind is that you must deposit at least GBP 10 to be eligible for this bonus.

Another staple of BGO’s casinos are its reward points! For 7Casino, they take the shape of diamonds. Every GBP 10 you wager on slots earns you one diamond. Meanwhile, GBP 10 wagered on table games only nets you 0.1 diamond! It’s quite clear where the operator would rather you be spending your time and money. Keep in mind this is talking about wagering rather than depositing. If you have bonus cash which you can’t withdraw, you can still play with it and earn diamonds! Diamonds which can then be turned into real life rewards!

Starting with 100 diamonds, you can buy free spins on certain releases. The price increases for different games, with the most expensive being 400 diamonds. You can also use diamonds to buy real money, but it’s not a trade that’s worth it in our eyes. After all, for just a single pound, you have to spend 300 diamonds. That’s 30 Starburst free spins you could have played instead!

But if you truly want to experience all the greatness 7Casino has to offer, you’ll need to qualify for the VIP programme! If you play and spend enough, you’ll eventually receive the invitation, which comes with multiple benefits.

The best of which being your very own personal account manager, who facilitates faster withdrawal times. The position also comes with exclusive bonuses and cashback rewards, as well as being able to try new releases before they launch for the rest of the casino. 7Casino will also send you gifts tailored around your likes and hobbies, as well as invitations to music concerts and sports events. But the biggest boon comes for live casino gamblers, who will be able to play higher limit casino tables!

Deposits and Withdrawals (rating 6/10)

Supported currencies include pounds, euros, Canadian dollars and Norwegian crowns. And while the BGO Entertainment group is set in Alderney, they default to GBP as their default currency.

There are quite a few payment methods you can use for deposits. Credit and debit cards are always a safe bet, but you also have access to Paypal, Skrill, Neteller PaySafeCard and Citadel. There are two things to note. First, some payment methods may not be available to you depending on where you live. For example, we’re not sure if Paypal is available outside of the UK as a means of depositing and withdrawing. Another thing is that deposits made via Skrill and Neteller will not count for certain bonuses for whatever reason.

Because of this, we do not recommend using e-wallets; you wouldn’t want to not qualify for a promotion because you used one! Your minimum deposit is GBP 10, and every deposit below GBP 500 is subject to a 2.5% tax offset fee.

Most of the payment methods we mentioned can also be used to withdraw. The only exception to this rule are PaySafeCards. All withdrawals are subject to a GBP 2.5 fee, with an additional GBP 15 fee for international bank transfers. Once a withdrawal has been requested, you have 24 hours to reverse it if you want to. After that, the money is already sent and cannot be reversed.

Licensing and Security (rating 9/10)

The advantage of being part of an established casino group is having some of the best licenses on the market! 7Casino is licensed by both the United Kingdom Gambling Commission and the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. The UKGC is one of the most reputable licenses currently available, and goes out of its way to protect British players. Of course, its rules only apply to gamblers from Great Britain. Everyone else is subject to the rules set by the AGCC.

Alderney is home to several reputable casinos, but it doesn’t offer the fantastic conditions the UKGC or Malta’s Gaming Authority do. Still, with one of the most reputable regulators giving them the green light, this casino has earned a fair amount of trustworthiness in our eyes.

No page on 7Casino’s website seems to be focused on security. They don’t mention what sort of methods they use to keep you safe; they just say they’re committed to it. From our research, it doesn’t seem like BGO Entertainment has ever had any issues with security, however. So whatever they’re doing seems to be working out just fine for them! The privacy policy is acceptable; there’s nothing particularly eye-catching in it that should concern privacy-concerned gamblers.

Customer Support (rating 8/10)

If you have to read one page in detail, make sure it’s the FAQ! There’s a lot of useful information there which will pre-emptively answer a lot of questions! But if you’ve still got some to ask, you will be able to speak with casino support staff either through live chat, e-mail or phone number.

Or, if you’re particularly miffed and want to send a physical letter, you can! The first three contact methods are clearly listed at the top, and beneath, you’ll find a big blank spot. Scroll through it, and you’ll find the physical address written down there.

On one hand, we’re pleased to see 7Casino is confident enough to list their physical address. On the other hand, why did they so blatantly hide it compared to other contact methods? Sadly, we have no answers. Support staff aren’t available 24/7. Instead, you can only get in touch from 07:30 AM to 01:00 AM from Monday to Sunday.

We also didn’t find any complaints raised against this casino! Of course, the question is whether it’s BGO Entertainment’s stellar reputation or that the casino is so new that no one had a chance to have any troubles with it. Most likely, a little bit of both play a role. With no complaints about the casino itself, and next to none against its operator, we feel confident in stamping our approval on 7Casino.

Another addition to the BGO Entertainment Group is always a welcome sight. If you’ve played one of their casinos before, you’ll know exactly what to expect out of 7Casino! The welcome promotions are somewhat different, but the VIP programme and rewards systems are exactly the same. Still, more of the same isn’t a bad deal; especially when it’s such a high quality.

This website has fantastic licenses, great games by multiple software providers, and amazing bonuses. Honestly, we wouldn’t be opposed to giving 7-Casino a perfect rating, but it does have to fix a few things first. Remove the GBP 250,000 hard cap on non-progressive wins, for starters. Find a way around forcing deposit and withdrawal fees on gamblers.

Add more releases and software providers. And finally, enable 24/7 support. Once these four steps are complete, we’ll be more than happy to give this casino the highest rank possible! But until then, it sits with its prestigious 8/10 score.
