Vegas Luck Casino Review

“BGO’s talented team bring forward yet another amazing casino! Vegas Luck offers a diverse offer of games and numerous payment processors. It’s available to a great deal of players across the world, including the UK! Will you get lucky under the four leaf clover’s blessing?”

Vegas Luck casino is operated by BGO Entertainment Limited, a company based in Alderney. BGO has been in the game from the distant year of 2012, and have worked hard on each online casino they launch. There’s only a few of them, but each one showcases how much the developers remain committed to their goal. And what is that goal you may ask? An exceptional gambler experience driven by the very best casino, bingo and slot products. In an effort to give you as much variety and fun as possible, the operator has brought multiple software providers to the platform. All their games together create a grand total of over 550 casino releases, mostly dominated by slots. But great games alone aren’t enough to entice players, and Vegas Luck knows this. They let their bonuses draw gamblers in! Free spins with no wagering requirements and a chance at winning a free trip? Where do we sign up?

Software & Games (rating 8/10)

Vegas Luck wastes no time in showing off its best assets. It tempts you with its lucrative promotions and lucky winners, that much is true. But scroll down just a little bit, and you’ll see all of its available games sorted in useful categories. If you so choose, you can choose to only see slots, jackpots slots, daily jackpots, casino games or live games. The casino also allows players to see the latest releases, or the most popular ones currently being played. Great news if you can’t quite decide what to play and want other people’s input on the matter. On the bottom of the screen, you will also see the last few games or releases you have played.

At the time this review goes live, there are a total of 562 games currently available at this casino. That number will only continue to increase as new releases are made available, or new developers are brought in. To no one’s surprise, slots absolutely dominate the available games: 521 in total! In contrast, there are only 33 casino games. There’s a total of 16 roulette tables, 10 blackjacks, and several other releases. It’s a decent offering of games, though it lacks the variety other casinos have. On the upside, Vegas Luck carries French Roulette, which is a rare treat.

Their live casino releases might fool you at first, as there’s only eight of them. But then you open the category, and see that it’s not all just blackjacks and roulettes! This is the sort of variety we wish the single player casino games had. You can play Hi-Lo, 7 Seat Baccarat, Casino Hold’em, regular baccarat, two types of blackjack and two types of roulette: regular and French. Live French Roulette is probably the best offer of the bunch, but the rest are still great Playtech games.

The operator has clearly accepted the wonders of the mobile revolution, as their website is well optimized for phones. It’s so well optimized, as a matter of fact, that we had an easier time using it on our phones compared to the desktop version. Smaller screen size obviously plays a factor, but what can you do. You also don’t have to download any apps to start playing, either. Just login or register, and you’ll be able to start spinning!

Desktop or mobile, however, there are some things we weren’t fans of. First off, there aren’t any demo versions you can try in Vegas Luck. What does this mean for you? Well, if you see a brand new slot that you’d like to try, you will have to spend your money on it. Or you’ll go online to find a demo version, and possibly get seduced by another casino that does offer demo version. The second thing we disliked was the GBP 250,000 cap imposed on all non-progressive wins.

Slots (rating 8/10)

There are a total of 521 available video slots by a wide variety of software providers. You can browse through all available games, or you can set it to show only jackpot releases. No matter which way you decide to go, there’ll be a huge list ahead of you. As a matter of fact, the list is so massive, you’ll have a hard time finding exactly what you’re after. This is an issue BGO already solved with Chilli Casino, which allowed you to sort by developer and theme. Sadly, Vegas Luck doesn’t have this system in place, meaning it’s a lot more difficult to find your ideal slot.

So what developers can you expect to find at this casino? After trying it out and seeing what it had to offer, these were all the developers we could find. It’s entirely possible we missed one or two, however; like we said, no way to sort by developer to let us know. The vast majority of available games are made by Playtech and NetEnt. Then, other software providers include Eyecon, IGT, Quickspin, Blueprint and Realistic. We have also spotted the occasional Microgaming and Red Tiger release, but those seem to be relatively new to the casino. We don’t doubt more will be added after a while.

So, how do you find your ideal slot, then? The only answer we can give you is: with great difficulty. Matters are further complicated by the fact you can’t try demo versions of any game. So it can be difficult to track down, and then you have to spend real money on a release you may not like. Alternatively, you can go off-site to find a demo version before committing real money, but that just raises the obvious question. Why would you even register at Vegas Luck? Two reasons! Reason one is the amazing game library it offers and how hard it is to find anywhere else. Reason two: the great bonuses the operator has in store for you.

Welcome Bonus & Ongoing Promotions (rating: 8/10)

One of the things we recall that annoyed us at Chilli Casino was the hidden wagering requirement. The casino was all too happy to boast how it didn’t apply to its free spins round. Only for that same wagering requirement to poke its nose through elsewhere, showing you haven’t gotten rid of it. Fortunately, Vegas Luck doesn’t follow in the footsteps of that mistake. Instead, they play it smart. Since they put free spins as the key focus of the casino’s marketing, they make it the focus of the welcome bonus!

The idea behind it is quite simple. Deposit up to GBP 50, and you receive that many free spins. For example, if you deposited GBP 20, you’d get 20 free spins. And, as advertised, those extra turns have no wagering requirements. Any and all wins you accrue while playing those free spins are yours to withdraw whenever you fancy. Does this sound a little too good to be true? Like all welcome promotions, there’s a catch somewhere. First off, the extra turns are only for a select few releases, although Vegas Luck did pick great slots. There’s Starburst, Finn and the Swirly Spin, Twin Spin Deluxe and Lights. On top of that, all free spins are locked at a ten pence wager. All of them have to be played three days after being added, or they expire. Finally, any deposits above GBP 50 will still only grant a maximum of 50 free spins.

Well, that’s great for hooking gamblers, but how do you keep them here? The answer this operator opted for was a loyalty programme! For every GBP 10 played on any slot, you earn a single diamond. That diamond generation drops like a rock for table games, which only grant 0.1 of a diamond for every GBP 10 of real money wagered at the slots. So what can you spend these gleaming crystals on? At the moment, only free spins and real money are available. You can choose to score more free spins for a select few releases, or real money. Just winning one pound this way will cost you 300 diamonds or GBP 3000 assuming you spent it on slots. But while we wait to see what happens, Vegas Luck also teases tournaments and golden chips. What do they do? What could they mean? Only time will tell!

But while this does reward you for sticking with this casino, there’s no proper VIP club. It feel like a waste on the operator’s part: give extra goodies to loyal players. Now, either BGO decides to go the same route as Chilli casino with trips, or they give you something more substantial. Either way, whatever they pick will certainly be better than nothing.

Of course, the great thing about BGO’s casinos is that you don’t have to be a VIP for a shot at winning a trip! Currently, Vegas Luck is offering a trip for two through Las Vegas proper if you rank first in their competition. For every GBP 25 you bet across all games you win a single point. And if you don’t succeed in scoring your dream vacation, there’s some awesome goodies waiting on store! You could find yourself owning a brand new Macbook Pro, an iPhone, an iPad, an Apple Watch, a HomePod, or even a set of wireless earphones! Places nine to twenty get differing cash prizes, while every down to one hundred gets free spins on Beavis and Butthead.

Deposits and Withdrawals (rating 9/10)

When you first register, you will be prompted to select your currency of choice. Available options include the euro, the pound, the Norwegian Krone, the Canadian Dollar or the New Zealand Dollar. This is a decent variety of currencies, but payment methods don’t lag behind too much. Sadly, no cryptocurrency support here. However, players can still deposit or withdraw using their credit cards or e-wallets. Available payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Paypal, Skrill, Neteller and Interac. Not all of these will be available to you, depending from where you register from. All deposits below GBP 500 are subject to a 2.5% fee, except in cases it would fall below 50 pence. In those cases, 50 pence is assumed as the minimum you have to pay the operator. It’s obviously not great, but they have to recoup money due to not using wagering requirements.

Withdrawals are subject to a similar rule. All withdrawals, regardless of size, must pay GBP 2.5. After a withdrawal, there’s a twenty-four hour waiting period during which you can reverse your withdrawal. After that, the money is deposited to your linked payment method. For e-wallets, the sum will usually instantly become available. If you’ve withdrawn money by card, it may take between three to five days. There’s also a GBP 15 fee applied to international bank transfers.

Licensing and Security (rating 9/10)

Vegas Luck is licensed under two separate jurisdictions. The first one is the most recognizable: the United Kingdom Gambling Commission. With a reputation of being the strictest gambling oversight authority out there, it keeps a close eye on online casinos. On the upside, that does afford British gamblers great stuff like being able to use eCOGRA’s ADR to settle disputes with the casino. Sometimes, the effect applies to countries outside of the UK, such as keeping all player funds in a separate account. The other jurisdiction this casino is licensed in is the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. All non-British clients follow their conditions and restrictions. The AGCC doesn’t have as great of a reputation as the UKGC or Malta’s Gaming Authority do. But that still puts them way ahead of something like Curacao!

It doesn’t seem like the operator has any information on the type of security they employ. From what we can tell, the website uses HTTPS, and their certificate is valid. The casino also does their best to protect your privacy. They accomplish this through strict confidentiality requirements. Nothing is shared that doesn’t need to be shared! On top of that, Vegas Luck go out of their way to anonymise and destroy information that is no longer relevant to anyone.

Customer Support (rating 9/10)

At all times, you will be able to see the various help buttons off to the right side of the screen. So, if something does go wrong, getting in touch with the customer support is quite easy. They are available every day between 07:30 in the morning and 01:00 in the evening, and can be reached via live chat. Just tap the bubble to get into contact with the operators customer support or responsible gaming team. Admittedly, we didn’t have many interactions with them, mostly regarding identity confirmation. But when we spoke to them, they were polite and helpful, which is exactly what we like to see!

So, as we already mentioned, the easiest way to reach out for help is Live Chat. Press the button, and a chatbox opens that lets you talk to someone directly at no charge. Then, once your problem is resolved, you can quit out and enjoy your game once more. Live Chat is also great if you have a quick question you need answered, or if you’re trying to recover an inactive account. This method of contacting staff is only available during working hours. If you don’t see the chat bubble, it means that customer support isn’t currently working.

Fortunately, there are other ways of reaching out to people. The simplest of which is to fill out the form on the Help page and send it to the team. They will usually get back to you within the next day. Not as gratifying as Live Chat, but just as useful. A phone number is also available for players to call in case something goes wrong.

One thing we would recommend before reaching out to support is the FAQ. Obviously, it’s still far from perfect, but it still covers a whole range of topics. That said, the operator still doesn’t put all the information there. Just reading the FAQ, you’d have no idea there’s a hard win cap of GBP 250,000, for example.

Vegas Luck benefitted greatly from being part of BGO’s prestigious family. The casino isn’t perfect, but it doesn’t try to be. Instead, it offers gamblers solid wins and great promotions: ones that will seriously test your inner strength. Comparing it to Chilli Casino, the only real big change is the disappearance of the VIP club. The current method still rewards your loyalty, and lets you cash it in for prizes. But if you’re given two fundamentally similar websites, and with one you have odds of netting a trip or a concert, where are you likely to play?

Of course, that said, we did enjoy Vegas Luck more. This dark green colour suited us more than the wider range of bright colours trying to grab your attention. The sort, while not as good as Chilli Casino, still does a great job at focusing you on what you want to play. The Welcome Bonus gives you up to 50 free spins with no strings attached! That’s all good, but it comes with a few baffling BGO decisions. Think stuff like the GBP 250,000 cap for all non-progressive wins. Fortunately, this isn’t as big of a deal as it was for the other casino. This time around, playing a progressive jackpot doesn’t harm your odds of playing the promotions.

So, what are our final thoughts? We certainly appreciate the improvements Vegas Luck has seen. It has a vast library of different slots and table games that could keep us entertained for hours. And that variety of available releases will only continue to grow, as new software providers join the roster. What the casino lacks in flashiness, it makes up for in substance. We’re quite curious to see where this casino goes. As it stands, it feels a little too similar to Chilli Casino for our liking.
